Europassi

What?

Europass consists of five documents, which aim to help learners and workers demonstrate their competence around Europe. The documents are used in the same format in all EU/EEA countries. The Europass can be used when looking for work or applying for education and training programmes.

The basic Europass document is the Europass CV, which learners or workers can supplement with other Europass documents as they wish. These include the Europass Language Passport, the Europass Mobility document and the international supplements to qualification certificates (the Europass Certificate Supplement and the Europass Diploma Supplement).

  • Users can fill in their own Europass CV and Europass Language Passport themselves.

The Europass scheme is based on the Decision of the European Parliament and the Council on a single Community framework for the transparency of qualifications and competences.
